About Me

I am married and have a 16 year old son.  I have worked in local government in the IT field for the last two decades.  I enjoy camping, walking, jogging, eating and the occasional video game.  At this point the content of my blog is fairly general in nature. I expect however, that this will evolve over time.  Since I am a frequent traveler in cyberspace, the source and inspiration for much of my content will come directly from there.

The scallop shell pictured in this blogs banner, is the traditional emblem of St. James.   It was made popular in Spain, on the Way of St. James to Santiago de Compestela.  This was, and continues to be, a very popular pilgrimage throughout Western Europe.  The shell itself is a metaphor of the pilgrimage.   Each groove represents a road, all of which end in a single destination.  For me, this is fundamental to the pilgrim and his journey.
