A Pilgrimage in Contrast
Welcome to my life's journey in cyberspace. Cyber Pilgrim is the namesake of a website, created 12 to 13 years ago; long before blogging became popular. That website had a distinctly religious tone, and it was designed as a virtual travel guide of pilgrimage sites, throughout Europe and the Middle East. In this, its latest incarnation, the term Cyber, is both a reference to the Internet metaphor, Cyberspace, as well as an allusion to all things digital; and Pilgrim, refers to the traveler, in both the spiritual and secular sense. Eventually, I expect to explore how all our Cyber technologies have affected us as travelers in this modern world. Initially however, in an effort to get my feet wet, I intend to cover a broad variety of topics, from technology to politics, from hobbies to everyday happenings.
